Trips right
The quarterback and running back sit in the backfield, the X receiver is wide left and three receivers stack to the right. Use it to overload one side against two corners and two safeties.
Slant
The slot receiver breaks inside on a short slant and the quarterback throws into that window ahead of the cornerback. Use it for quick yards when the defence plays off coverage.
Cover 2
Two cornerbacks take the flats, two safeties split the deep halves and a linebacker holds the middle. Draw it to show which areas each defender guards against the pass.
Goal line
The running back dives forward behind the quarterback near the end zone, with two tight blockers on each side. Use it for short yardage inside the red zone.
